Notes This article comprehensively examines the importance of e-learning in foreign language teaching for Algerian students. It underlines the growing relevance of the Internet for Algerian students, especially in the education sector, where platforms such as Moodle play a central role. The development and application of Moodle in Algeria are addressed, identifying technical challenges and training needs for faculty and students as potential barriers. Nevertheless, Moodle has helped to improve access to education and expand distance learning options. The functionalities and benefits of Moodle are explained in detail, highlighting the versatility and flexibility of the platform. These benefits are supported by a student survey that highlights the crucial role of the Internet in education and shows that e-learning offers a wide range of resources for foreign language learning. The advantages and disadvantages of e-learning in foreign language teaching are thoroughly discussed, with flexibility and access to learning materials cited as advantages, while lack of social interaction, technological barriers and motivational problems are identified as potential disadvantages. Finally, it is emphasized that e-learning plays a significant role in the Algerian education system and has the potential to improve access to education. The proposed student survey is mentioned as an opportunity to further develop the education system, emphasizing that continuous evaluation and adaptation of e-learning practices are important to ensure effective and inclusive education for all students. Nevertheless, Moodle has contributed to enhancing educational access and expanding distance learning offerings. The features and advantages of Moodle are detailed, with an emphasis on the platform's versatility and flexibility. These benefits are supported by a student survey, which underscores the critical role of the internet in education and the wealth of resources E-Learning provides for language learning.
