Notes	Some works in the field of belief are attributed to Abu Hanifa, which were narrated through his students. The most famous of these is undoubtedly al-Fıkhu'l-ekbar. However, although there is not a single work under the name of el-Fıkhu'l-ekber and it is mentioned under the same name in the sources, one of them is written by his student Ebû Mutî el-Belhî and the other by his son Hammâd b. There are two different texts transmitted through Abi Hanifa. The fact that these two different texts are mentioned with the same name (el-Fıkhu'l-ekber) in the sources has created the problem of which text is meant in the references to the work. The matter did not end there; This has led to confusion as to which text the commentaries written on the work are, and even to incorrect determinations from time to time. Being aware of the problematic situation in question, this study has begun to question the belonging of the works recorded as el-Fıkhu'l-ekber Commentary in various sources, specifically the authors of the works, and tried to identify the first commentary written on al-Fıkhu'l-ekber narrated by Hammâd. As a result of the findings, the first comment(s) on the work were published in the 9th/15th. It was determined that it was written in the 16th century, and upon this, some suggestions were presented by focusing on the possible reasons why al-Fıkhu'l-ekbar was commented on for the first time after approximately seven centuries.
