Notes
The Quran has been revealed in a miraculous manner, both in terms of its style and content. This structure also reveals itself in the verses regarding the prostration of recitation. The literal dimension (style) of the verses of prostration and the content resulting from this style are important in terms of richness of expression. Because the verses of prostration do not only have a style and content that commands, recommends or encourages prostration. These verses have other contents beyond prostration (such as not committing polytheism, serving Al-lah, fulfilling the mission undertaken). In the study, the literal style used in the prostration verses and the contributions of this style to the meaning were examined. There are verses in the Quran that require prostration of recitation when read. These verses, which are the subject of tafsir, fiqh and hadith sciences and for which special sections are opened in hadith sources, have various styles and contents. Due to this style and content, the narrations could be interpreted differently and the number of prostration verses could change. In addition, the necessity or advisability of prostration and the situations of prostration in terms of time and space are extensively discussed in fiqh works. Again, since they are emphasized intensively in the science of fiqh, these are perceived as verses for worship purposes. However, when the relevant verses are examined in terms of tafsir science, it is understood that they are faith-containing verses sent down to form a solid belief. However, it is noteworthy that no special study has been done on the words of prostration in these verses. For this reason, it is important to examine these passages, which are considered as "Verses of Prostration", in terms of style and content and to reveal the meaning of the words of prostration in the verses. Therefore, in the study, in terms of the science of exegesis, the verses of the prostration of recitation were discussed in terms of their style and content, and both the richness of expression they contained and the scope of the meaning expressed by the order of prostration were revealed. The Qur'an was revealed in a miraculous way in terms of both its style and content. This structure also shows itself in the verses about the prostration of recitation. The literal dimension (style) of the prostration verses and the content that emerges depending on this style are important in terms of richness of expression. Because the verses of prostration do not have a style and content that only orders, recommends or encourages to prostrate. These verses also have other contents that they express beyond prostrating (such as not committing polytheism, serving Allah, fulfilling the assigned mission).
