Notes	In addition to threatening the future of businesses, financial failure will also have a negative impact on the economic growth of the country as the number of failed businesses increases. It is possible to list many internal and external factors that affect financial failure. It is vital for businesses to foresee failure and take precautions as a result to get rid of the difficult situation. Many models have been developed to predict financial failure. These models are mostly statistical techniques and artificial intelligence techniques. In this study, artificial neural networks and support vector machines, which are artificial intelligence techniques, were used. In addition, the performances of the used models were measured with ROC curves. In the study, the performances of the two models were compared and the accuracy percentages of the classification were calculated.
