Notes	The positivist paradigm emphasizes the importance of producing objective knowledge. He suggests that society and people should be investigated independently of value, just like an object is examined. However, the "information" that emerges as a result of the relationship established between the "subject and object" cannot be isolated from the sociological context to which the subject belongs. Based on this fact, the hermeneutic paradigm was developed within the framework of criticisms made against the positivist paradigm in sociology. In the hermeneutic tradition, "relative" knowledge production on the basis of "meaning" is important. Extreme relativity brings about the differentiation of the information produced from context to context. The phenomenon of objectivity has been the dominant topic of discussion since the foundation of social sciences and sociology until today.
