Notes
The research traces, in acceptable brevity, the place of the Burdah on Arab, Persian, and Turkish creativity and Burdah criticism, so to speak, as well. In clarifying the status of the Burdah as an innovation in Islamic poetry, it is represented by several paths, one path that came in opposition to Burdah al-Busiri, and some of them were: some came as quincunxes, some of them came as subdivisions, some of them came as divisions, and some of them were created with the influence of the Burdah on him, such as proposing the art of badiyyat, and some of them came as a translation of al-Busiri’s Burdah in the same Its size, or perhaps three times its size. The research has traced, pointed out, and documented the greatest part of all of this. Then comes the position of the Burdah in Arabic criticism, which has held it close to it from every side. We have seen hundreds of explanations of the Burdah and explanations of the explanations since its composition until the present day. In fact, dozens of works have been written on some of these explanations, such as the explanation of Ibn Hajjat al-Hamawi and others. On the other hand, the author of the Burdah has been pursued by writing about it through dozens of books in Arabic, Persian, and Turkish, and what he has achieved. Also from some of his other famous poems, such as Al-Hamziyya, Al-Khamriyya, and Al-Dalia.
