The Ottoman-Safavid conflict is one of the most important historical events in the sixteenth century A.D., as a result of which the shape of the Middle East region changed, and the balance of political and sectarian powers differed in it, as this conflict not only affected the intertwining parties, whether the Ottomans or the Safavids, but its impact extended to the state Mamlukism in Egypt, where it ended up with its demise, and the succession of Muslims to the Ottomans after it was in Cairo. The Ottoman-Safavid conflict is considered one of the most important historical events in the sixteenth century AD. As a result, the shape of the Middle East region changed and the balance of political and sectarian powers differed in it. This conflict did not only affect the parties involved in it, whether the Ottomans or the Safavids, but its impact extended to the Mamluk state in Egypt, so that it ended with its demise and the transfer of the Muslim caliphate to the Ottomans after it had been in Cairo.
