The Ottoman-Safavid conflict is one of the most important historical events in the sixteenth century A.D., as a result of which the shape of the Middle East region changed, and the balance of political and sectarian powers differed in it, as this conflict not only affected the intertwining parties, whether the Ottomans or the Safavids, but its impact extended to the state Mamlukism in Egypt, where it ended up with its demise, and the succession of Muslims to the Ottomans after it was in Cairo. يعد الصراع العثماني الصفوي من أهم الأحداث التاريخية في القرن السادس عشر الميلادي فقد تغير على إثره شكل منطقة الشرق الأوسط و اختلفت موازين القوى السياسية و المذهبية فيه كما لم يؤثر هذا الصراع فقط على الأطراف المتشابكة فيه سواء العثمانيين أو الصفويين بل امتد أثره إلى الدولة المملوكية في مصر بحيث انتهى الأمر بزوالها و انتقال خلافة المسلمين إلى العثمانيين بعد أن كانت في القاهرة.
