Abstract This study answers one question, namely what was the impact of Ottoman Turkish political policies in the Hijaz 1512-1566 AD. To answer this question, a historical method was used, through written sources with a political approach. Due to various written sources during the reign of the Ottoman Turks (1512-1566 AD), its influence on Islamic-style countries in the Middle East, especially the Hijaz, was very strong. However, from these various studies, the author has not found any in-depth information or explanation, the influence of Ottoman Turkish policy was so strong. The author's findings are that Ottoman Turkey's policies provided significant progress towards the Hijaz. In terms of politics, the Sunni school of thought became dominant in the Middle East, the Hijaz became the center of the intellectual study movement by establishing Sharîf in Mecca, Sançak in Jeddah, and Muhafidz in Medina. The title of caliph held by the Ottoman Turks made him the sole ruler in the Middle East. Many Islamic countries asked for the legitimacy of the title "sultanate" from the Sultan in Istanbul through Syarîf al-Harâmayn in the Hijaz.---Abstract This study answered the question is how policy impacted the Ottoman Empire in 1512-1566 Hijaz M. The findings of the authors that the policy of the Ottomans provided significant progress toward Hijaz. In terms of politics, Sunni sects became dominant in the Middle East, Hijaz became central to the movement of intellectual study to establish Sharif in Makkah, Sancak in Jeddah, and Muhafidz in Medina. Title that carried the Ottoman caliph made it as the sole ruler in the Middle East. Many Islamic countries ask the legitimacy of the title of "the empire" to the Sultan in Istanbul with Sharif al-Haramayn in Hijaz.
