This research deals with the biography of a great scholar, thinker, and historian among the scholars, thinkers, and historians of Iraq in the eleventh century AH/seventeenth century AD, in one of the fields of knowledge in which he excelled and wrote about. His books exceeded thirty, and the topic of history was among those topics in which he emerged, as he contributed in his historical writings as a book to reveal the political, social, economic, and cultural conditions that occurred in southern Iraq in some eras of the Ottoman era, which dominated Iraq and the Arab world for four centuries, but despite what distinguished this rule from The destruction, wars, ignorance, and backwardness that befell Arab society and others. Some Arab states were able to enjoy semi-independent administration that allowed them to dispose of their internal affairs despite their subordination to Ottoman rule. Among these states was the state of Basra, in which the Al-Afrasiab Al-Dayri family ruled in the eleventh century AH/seventeenth century AD, as well as the state of Al-Hawizeh in southeastern Iraq, in which the Al-Mushasha family ruled for nearly three centuries in Al-Hawizeh, and its relations fluctuated cautiously between the Safavids. And the Ottomans. The Arab identity of the governors of Basra and Al-Hawizeh was one of the factors of cultural, literary, and civilizational prosperity there, and evidence of this cultural, scientific, and civilizational prosperity in Al-Hawizeh and Basra was the abundance of schools, libraries, mosques, places of knowledge and worship, the care of scholars and students of science, and the journey in seeking knowledge. The foundations of culture were solid and solid because it relied on the Arab-Islamic heritage in the days of its glory, prosperity, and eras of supremacy. The historian Abdul Ali bin Rahma Al-Huwayzi spent the rest of the time. The first part of his life was in his hometown of Al-Huwayzah, drinking from its scientific sources, sipping from its literary nectar, sitting with its professors, and attending its schools and libraries until his talent matured and his ability was strengthened. At the beginning of his fourth decade, he headed towards Basra and set out there, displaying his cultural goods to the Basra community. The rulers of the state embraced him, and he was one of their entourage. He became the state’s favorite writer and poet, and composed most of his books in Basra, from which The historical literature that we will review in the research, God willing. This research deals with the march of a scientist, a thinker and a great historian of the scholars, thinkers and historians of Iraq in the eleventh century AH in the seventeenth century AD in the field of knowledge fields in which he created and wrote about, his writings have been over thirty, and the subject of history among those topics which emerged in his writings Historical, political, social, economic and cultural conditions that took place in southern Iraq in some periods of the Ottoman era, which prevailed in Iraq and the Arab world for four centuries, but the characterization of this rule of destruction and wars and ignorance and backwardness that affected the Arab society and others, The Arab states enjoyed semi-independent administration that despite them allowed to act in their internal affairs their dependence on the Ottoman rule. Among these states was the province of Basra, ruled by the family of Al-Afrasiyab Al-Diri in the eleventh century AH and the mandate of Al-Huweiza in southeastern Iraq, The family of Al-Masha'sha was about three centuries of Hawiye and was wary of its relations with the Safavids and Ottomans. The Arab identity of the governors of Basra and Hawizah is one of the factors of cultural, literary and cultural prosperity. Among the evidence of this cultural, scientific and cultural prosperity is the abundance of schools, libraries, mosques, the role of science and worship, the care of scientists and students of science and the journey to seek knowledge.
