Many rejections were written for this work, which caused great reactions in the Ottoman public. One of these rejections is Filibeli Ahmed Hilmi's work called "Tarih-i İslam". In his work Ahmed of Filibe, Dozy's Hz. He gave answers to his prejudiced, unfounded and unfounded views about the Prophet, Islam and the Quran, which do not comply with the methodology of history. In this study, Filibeli's evaluations about the Quran, his objections to the quality of revelation in the works of some Western authors, whom he calls "Dozy and his peers", and the Prophet Muhammad.
