The message: Interpretation of the seventh and eighth verses of Surat Al-An’am, by its author: Jaafar Chalabi from Al-Taji Bey Zadeh Makhdoom, (d. 921 AH / 1515 AD) and he did not give his message a specific title. The summary of the interpretation of the two verses is that the infidels said: Would God not send down with Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, an angel who would speak to us and bear witness that he was a prophet? We would have believed in him, even if God had sent down an angel and they had seen him as they suggested. Their destruction is due, for the law of God had thus applied to those before them, and they would not be given time to repent if the king they proposed descended. And if God had made the one sent to them a king, or made the king a companion with the Messenger, He would have made him in the form of a man so that they would be able to see him, hear him, and receive from him; Because human power cannot do that with the king in the form in which God created him, even if God made the king in the form of a man; We would certainly confuse them with what they confuse themselves, so they would say, “This is nothing but a human being like you.” One of the features of this interpretation is: attention to Al-Baydawi’s interpretation, as was the custom of commentators during the era of the Ottoman Empire. His style is dominated by: dialogue with logic, language, and rhetoric, and he frequently cites and discusses sayings, and weighs between them. He often says: “Some virtuous people said and some scholars said,” and by them he means interpreters and scholars who contemporaneous them and whose books he came across, but most of their books are lost and manuscripts, and it was not possible to print them, and this increases the importance of the manuscript.
