Supercommentary (footnote) by ʿAbd al-Munʿim Muḥammad al-ʿAṭṭārī (Abdul Moneim Muhammad al-Attari, dates unknown) on a short treatmentise by the physician Fakhr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Khujandī (Fakhr al-Dīn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Khujandi, fl. 14th century) discussing proportions in music. Al-Khujandī's work incorporates a passage on the relationship between the human pulse and musical proportions from the
Canon of Medicine
(Law in Medicine) by Abū ‘Alī al-Ḥusayn ibn ‘Abd Allāh (Abu Ali Al-Hussein bin Abdullah), known as Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna, latinised as Avicenna, 980-1037). The title of the present work is given on the volume's contents page as
