Supercommentary by Quṭb al-Dīn Maḥmūd ibn Mas‘ūd al-Shīrāzī (Qutb al-Dīn Mahmud ibn Masoud al-Shirazi; c. 1236-1310) on the
Tibyān maqāṣid al-Tadhkirah
(Explanation of the purposes of the reminder) by Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī ibn Ḥusayn al-Ḥimādhī (Muhammad bin Ali bin Hussein Al-Hammadi), which is in turn a commentary on the
Kitāb al-tadhkirah fī al-hay’ah
(The Authority’s ticket book; see British Library, MS Or.11209) a treatise on the astronomical system presented in the
Almagest
of Ptolemy (Claudius Ptolemaeus; c 90-c 168) by Naṣīr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Ṭūsī (Nasir al-Din Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tusi; d. 1274). Al-Shīrāzī's text is a scathing criticism of al-Ḥimādhī, whom he accuses of plagerising his (al-Shīrāzī's) own commentray on the
Kitāb al-tadhkirah
, the
Kitāb al-tuḥfah
al-shāhīyah
(The book of the Shahi masterpiece; see British Library, Add. MS 23393).
The title page refers to the text as
Kitāb sharḥ Tadhkirah
Quṭbī
(Book Explanation of Tadhkirat Qutbi; f. 1r), and the
colophon

calls it the
Kitāb al-mawsūm Sharḥ al-Tadhkirah
(The book entitled Sharh al-Tadhkirah; f. 213v, lines 8-9). The text's true title,
Fa‘altu fa-lā talum
(You did, so do not blame), is found in al-Shīrāzī's introduction (f. 14v, line 13).
The copy was completed 14 Jumādá I 826 (25 April 1423) by a copyist who states his name illegibly (see
