The manuscript was copied in the year 887 AH/1482 AD (see colophons of the first two chapters on ff. 17v and 35v dated 21 Ramaḍān 887 AH/3 November 1482 and 27 Ramaḍān 887 AH/AD 9 November 1482 respectively, and the final

on f. 258v, transcribed below dated 16 Shawwāl 887 AH/28 November 1482). These dates, however, appear to refer only to ff. 1-12, after which point the folios have been replaced with ones of a later paper written in a number of hands probably from the fifteenth century.
