Notes Ḥunayn ibn Isḥāq's (Hunayn ibn Ishaq) Arabic version of Galen's major work on anatomy the This anatomical administration (Anatomy Workbook). The manuscript was copied in the year 887 AH/1482 AD (see colophons of the first two chapters on ff. 17v and 35v dated 21 Ramaḍān 887 AH/3 November 1482 and 27 Ramaḍān 887 AH/AD 9 November 1482 respectively, and the final colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. on f. 258v, transcribed below dated 16 Shawwāl 887 AH/28 November 1482). These dates, however, appear to refer only to ff. 1-12, after which point the folios have been replaced with ones of a later paper written in a number of hands probably from the fifteenth century. The text comprises fifteen chapters (articles): First Article (Chapter 1; ff. 2v-17v); Second Article (Chapter 2; ff. 18v-36r); Third Article (Chapter 3; ff. 36v-58v); Fourth Article (Chapter 4; ff. 59r-75v); Fifth Article (Chapter 5; ff. 76r-94r); Article Six (Chapter 6; ff. 94v-112r); Seventh Article (Chapter 7; ff. 112v-130r); Article Eight (Chapter 8; ff. 130v-145r); Ninth Article (Chapter 9; ff. 145v-161v); Article Ten (Chapter 10; ff. 162r-176v); Article Eleven (Chapter 11; ff. 176v-193r); Article XII (Chapter 12; ff. 193v-203r); Article Thirteen (Chapter 13; ff. 203v-222r); Article Fourteen (Chapter 14; ff. 222v-239v); Article XV (Chapter 15; ff. 240r-258v). Begins (f. 2v, lines 1-4): ... Galen's book on anatomy, the article The first is from Galen’s book on anatomy, translated by Hunayn ibn Ishaq. He said, “I was in the first period.” When I went to the city of Rome, I wrote a book on anatomy at the beginning of the reign of Antoninus It is our king in our days and I am writing about it now as well... Ends (f. 258v, lines 6-11): It has more than one origin, and so do all the other parts it connects It has a nerve. I will tell you the anatomy of each one of them How big is that nerve and how many is it? And in what places those organs Turn it over Colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text.
