Treatise on the mathematical sciences (geometry, astronomy, arithmetic and music) excerpted from the works of Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh (Abu Ali Al-Hussein bin Abdullah), known as Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037), edited and translated into Persian by his student Abū ʿUbayd ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn Muḥammad al-Jūzjānī (Abu Ubayd Abd al-Wahid ibn Muhammad al-Jawzjani). The treatise is meant as a supplement to Ibn Sīnā's

The Book of Wisdom for ʿAlāʾ
(Danshnameh Alai), which presented in Persian his teachings on logic, metaphysics, and physics.
