Notes Volume Two colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 282r, line 14, transcribed below) of a comprehensive encyclopaedia of medicine in four volumes by Muhadhdhab al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAlī ibn Hubal al-Baghdādī (Muhadhdhab al-Din Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Hubal al-Baghdadi, d. 1213). The text is defective at the beginning. The copy was completed on 8 Ramadan 976/3 February 1569 by Pīr Bāshāh ibn Bāshāh Līsārī (Pīr Pāshāh ibn Pāshāh Līsāri) at Ardabīl (see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 282r, lines 16-20, transcribed below). Begins (defective at beginning, f. 112r, lines 1-2): Psychological emotions such as grief, worry, anger, and sensory emotions such as the sounds of thunder, drums, trumpets, the lion’s roar, and all other sounds. The abominable thing that stings the senses, as well as the enormous and frightening sights. A chapter on apoplexy. Apoplexy is more difficult than epilepsy Ends (f. 282, lines 9-13): ...he said Cold and thirst in all ailments Which is in the lung and ribs They are bad evidence, I swear I know what is right Colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text.
