The end of the treatise is followed by an excerpt by Najm al-Dīn Maḥmūd ibn Ḍiyāʾ al-Dīn Ilyās al-Shīrāzī (Najm al-Dīn Mahmoud ibn Dhiyā al-Dīn Ilyās al-Shirāzī, d. 1330) on conception, presumably from his medical compendium
Kitāb al-Ḥāwi fī ‘ilm al-tadāwī
(Al-Hawi’s Book of Therapeutics, f. 99r).
