Medical compendium on pharmacognosy by Ṣāliḥ ibn Naṣr Allāh ibn Sallūm al-Ḥalabī (Salih ibn Nasrallah ibn Salum al-Halabi, d. 1669), personal physician to the Ottoman sultan Mehmet IV (Muhammad IV, reg. 1648-87).
The text begins with an extensive table of contents (ff. 3v-10r).
The copy was completed on Friday after Whitsunday/Pentecost 22 Ayyār (May) 1814/1229, at Dayr al-Qamar (Lebanon) by Brāhīm walad Līyās al-‘Aqqād (Ibrahim walad Liyas al-Aqqād), who was evidently a Christian (see

Praise be to God, who has adorned our minds with the eternal gems of wisdom and saddled the eyes with our insights in gardens
He taught us nature and guided us to remove knowledge of the science of health and remove disease after it had been known and created
We have plants, animals, minerals, and what maintains health and removes sickness. Prayers and peace be upon Akram

Therefore, he takes a shaktra (?), matti, half an ounce of mistletoe, or qitan cardunbaditi (?), a dirham, and half a zanna.
From one dirham to two dirhams with white dirt, and he continues with this for a period of time, and the diuretics remain, such as madder, ladan, and karmaz.
And other than that (!) These aforementioned buds will remain for forty days until the fear of distress is established then
