Notes
A divan. | Ms. codex., Title from fol. 1b., Copied by Seyit Mehmet Hulusî in 1290 (1873-74) -- colophon (fol. 286a)., 18 lines per page. Written in a medium sized naskh in black ink with the use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a single line frame in red ink. On fol. 1b the frame is further outlined with a thick line of (faded) gold. Same fol. has a simple illuminated head piece (`unwān) made with gold leaf and red ink, with the title inside, also in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Dark cream woven paper. fol. 286b-289b blank., Incipit: Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim from Kubriya, i.e. the interpretation of the beginning of the first from the beginning, Explicit: Be Arif Olda, an ideal without prejudice, Kostereh Haidari, Ahmad Leh, Vishir Khodaden Khatami | Brown leather with evidence of envelope flap which is now missing. Gold border design on covers. Small gold motif made with 8 radiating sprigs in the center of upper and lower covers. Endleaves in glossy green paper embossed in floral pattern.
