Notes A gloss on al-Muṭawwal of Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftāzānī, which is a commentary on Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī, which in turn is an abridgment of Miftāḥ al-ʻUlūm, the famous treatise on rhetoric by al-Sakkākī. | Ms. codex, Title from fol. (1)b., Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. On the back of the first page and preceding folio occur beginning of MS and several linguistic notes. Inscriptions on fol. 97b and the following folio., Collection: Paper ; fol. (2) + 97 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 23 lines per page., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks(coat-of-arms); MS in good condition., Origin: According to colophon copied 1091 (fol. 97a)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. He said, and with this it appears that what he argued that the laam in praise is to define the gender, Colophon: The praise belongs to God, the one who gives credit to the Noble Messenger 10091 | Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in dark brown leather.
