Notes	The work translated by Kâmil Harezmî from Persian to Uzbek language. The translation titled Ra'nâ and Zîbâ was written by Berhurdâr b. of Turkmen origin, who lived in the 17th century. It is the section included in the epilogue of Mahmûd Türkmân Ferâhî's work Mahbûbu'l-Kulûbadlı, which was printed separately from the work because it was very popular among the public (Bombay 1304). Ra'nâ and Zîbâ were written in a simpler style than Mahbûbu'l-Kulûb. Upon the suggestion of one of his friends in Isfahan, Berhurdâr began to collect the stories told in the assemblies in a magazine, and over time he added stories reaching 400 in number to this magazine, which he first named Ra'na and Zîba. Mümtâz, who resided in Herat and Mashhad for a while, later went to Ulkay-Dürûn and worked as a hermit for Menuchihr, appointed by the Safavid Shah Abbas I in 1626, for three years. He returned to Herat after a nearby tribe attacked the city. During this attack, his work was lost. He decided to rewrite his work in Herat and wrote the story called Şemse ve Kahkaha and dedicated it to Governor Safî Kulı Şamlû. Due to the confusion that arose here, he moved to Habûşân and started writing his work by adding new stories to those he remembered. This new work, which he called Mahbûbu'l-kulûb, consists of a preface, five chapters (humility, hüsn-i hulk, submission, musahabe and sehâvet) and a hatime. The work, written in a harsh language, is also known as Şemse ve Kahkaha, which is the name of one of the stories in the third section. The entire work was later published (Tehran 1322). Its last publication (Tehran 1373) was made by Ali Rıza Zekâvetî with Dâsitânhâ-yı Mahbûbu'l-Kulûbad (Atalay 2020: 560).
