Notes	Persian masnavi on medicine, which Halîmî completed in 862/1457-58 and presented to Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. The name of the work is mentioned as Ḳâsimiyye in Ottoman Authors (Yavuz and Özen 1972: 321). Gülşen-i Zîbâ has 7740 couplets and is in aruz. It was written with the pattern "fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün". Mesnevi consists of three general sections named "Tabî'iyyât", "Maraz" and "Zarûriyyât" (Uzun 2005: 6). In the first part of the work, the author discussed the creation of the universe, seasons, natural events, the sky and, accordingly, the daily life of man, his nutrition, what his living conditions should be like and what he should pay attention to. In the second part, he focused on all diseases and their treatment methods - albeit partially. In the third part, he discussed alternative medicine methods. The work, which contains Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Greek and Syriac terms, is important in terms of providing information about the medical world of the period with the terms and terminology it contains (Vural 2018: 15-18). A copy copied with abrogation line in 866/1461-62 is in Suleymaniye Library Fâtih Nu. It is registered in 3639 (Erkan 1997: 342). Emine Vural did a master's thesis on the work (2018).
