Notes
Ismet-i Buhârî's work consists of poems written mostly in Persian, Turkish and Arabic. There are 522 ghazals, 98 odes, 85 stanzas, 8 compositions, 5 musammats, 63 rubais, 34 mufreds and 1 bahr-i tavil in Dîvân. According to the information provided by Gülçiçek Akçay, the text, which is mostly in Persian, also includes Uzbek, Tajik and Arabic ghazals (2020). The influences of Emîr Husrev-i Dihlevî (d. 725/1324) and Hâfız-ı Şîrâzî (d. 791/1388) can be seen in the poet's ghazals (Okumuş 1998: 23). The majority of his eulogies (41 eulogies) were presented to Halîl Mîrzâ. His other odes were presented to names such as MîrzâUluğ Bey, Hoca Zengişâh, Emîrzâde Cügi, Yahyâ Meğisüddev, Hoca Şemsüddîn Mahmûd, ŞâhruhMîrzâKöregânî, Emirzâde Bâysunkur. İsmet-i Buhârî used the pseudonym Nâsirî in his odes and İsmet in his ghazals (Bobokalonov 2011: 46). Sait Okumuş identified 18 copies of the Dîvân in libraries, one of which is printed and the other manuscripts (1998: 38-43). İsmet-i Buhârî's Dîvân It was published by Ahmed Keremi in Tehran in 1366 (1988). This publication is incomplete because it is based on only one of the copies of the work. The ghazals in the Dîvân were studied by Ahad Emirçupânî (1993) and the odes by Halit Yağan (1993) as a master's thesis. Sait Okumuş prepared his master's thesis on poems other than ghazals and odes (1998). An important copy, which provides new information about Ismet-i Bukhari's life and contains some poems that are not found in other publications, was introduced by Suhrobhon Bobokalonov (2011: 44-47). Despite all these studies, there is no critical study that examines all copies of the work. For the poet's biography, see. “Nâsirî, İsmet, Hoca Fahreddîn İsmetullâh İbn Mes'ûd-ı Buhârî”.
