Notes Ahmadi's Persian ode in which he explains Arabic grammar rules. The poem, consisting of a total of 195 couplets, was written in the meter fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün. The only known copy of the text is registered in Konya Mevlana Museum Library, Specialization, number 2524/3. The ode named Mîzânü'l-Edebis, Bedâyi'ü's-Sihr fî-Sanâyi'i'ş-Şi'r, Mirkâtü'l-Edeb and Mi'yârü'l-Edeb together with Ahmed b. It is included in the magazine copied by Hâcı Mahmûd el-Aksarâyî on 22 Ramadan 835/24 May 1432 (Temizel 2018: 127). It is not known exactly for whom and when Mîzânü'l-Edeb was written. However, the information in the magazine in which it is included suggests that Mîzânü'l-Edeb may have been written for Îsâ Bey's son, Hamza Bey, just like Mirkâtü'l-Edeb and Mi'yârü'l-Edeb. What sources did Ahmedî use while writing Mîzânü'l-Edeb, who and what works did he take as an example, to whom or to what Arabic examples on the subjects in this work were given? There is no definitive data regarding the work. However, in the 127th couplet of the work, it is stated that "If transfer, hazf and vav are sufficient in Mef'ul, hazfi of the missing letter is appropriate according to the owner of the Book." It is thought that the expression was taken from Sîbeveyhî's (d.180/796?) work called el-Kitâbi (Temizel 2018: 128). The poem includes praise and praise to Allah and Hz. After sending blessings and greetings to the Prophet, it begins with the description of the vows and the explanation of the meter and scale and the subject. The work includes 23 topics related to grammatical knowledge, and at least 2 and at most 19 couplets of different lengths are allocated to each topic (Kartal 2015: 3). Ali Temizel prepared a doctoral thesis (2002) in which he examined Ahmedî's Mîzânü'l-Edeb and other Persian works. For the poet's biography, see. “Ahmedî, Tâceddîn İbrâhîm bin Hızır”.
