Written as one column in 17 lines per page. Taʿlīq script in black ink with some words and borders in red. Clothbound cover with flap. It is the commentary written by Molla Câmî on the work called el-Kâfiye, written by Cemâleddîn İbnü'l-Hâcib on Arabic grammar. The source text, which consists of three main sections where nouns, verbs and letters are discussed, is one of the three basic works in the science of grammar after Sîbewayh's el-Kitâb and Zemahşerî's el-Mufassal. About one hundred and fifty commentaries were written on al-Fevâidu'z-Ziyaiyye, one of the Ottoman madrasah books, in Arabic, Turkish and Persian, and later, annotations to these commentaries and instructions were written on the annotations. The work we have is perhaps the most famous of the al-Kafiyah commentaries. He is also known as Molla Câmî or Câmî, depending on the author of the work. More than forty annotations were written on el-Fevâidu'z-Ziyaiyye, ten of these annotations were printed. The work, which has been published in many editions, was translated into Turkish by Abdurrahman Ercan Elbinsoy (Istanbul, 1987) and prepared as a doctoral thesis by İclal Arslan (see References).
The copying of the copy we have was completed in Rajab 1133/April-May 1721. Only the "Ali" part of the copyist's name could be read. There is an ownership record in the name of Hâfız Mahmut Vehbi on the front cover. There are 4 appropriation seals in Ia that are about to be erased. Letters are engraved on the same leaf. In 1b, there are two appropriation seals that are about to be erased, an appropriation record belonging to Süleyman Efendi dated 1249/1833-1834 (it belongs to Süleyman Efendi, don't be mistaken) and comments on the dictionary. The words "sahib" and "mâlik" are illustrated on the same leaf. In 1a Ali b. There is a record of ownership in the name of the saint (in the form of Temelleke), a poem about "lâm-ı ta'rîf", an Arabic prayer, comments on eloquence, imprint information of the work and quotes from some books. There is a shukka between 1b-2a, the appropriation seal in 237b, and information about the location of Cam, the city of the author, on the margin. In 238a, there are 6 appropriation seals that are about to be erased. There is an Arabic prayer in 238b. There are many annotations, especially in the margins up to the middle of the copy. Among these, quotes from authors such as Ismet, Isâm, Abdulgafûr, Mahmûd, Hâfız, Şeyhzâde, Muharrem Efendi attract attention. There is also minhuvat in places. The copy is rejected.
