Notes
The work was published with analysis by Muhammed Mustafa. Some parts of it have also been translated into English and French and published. The work was arranged in 11 volumes by the author, and it was printed in five volumes in the edition made by the Bulak printing house. Muhammed Mustafa based his publication on the Bulak edition. Although it is highly probable that the author continued to write the work because he pointed out the 12th chapter at the end of the 11th volume (Fatih Collection/4199), such a phrase has not been found. Red ink was used for words and subject headings. The copy is written under the line. This volume includes the part of the work between the years 922-928. This corresponds to the eleventh and last volume of the author's edition and the fifth and last volume of the Bulak edition. This work talks about Egyptian history until 928. The author briefly discusses different states from Ancient Egypt and the Mamluk state until Sultan Qaitbay came to the throne, and explains the history after this event in more detail.

(1b) In the name of God... and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad... the virtues of Al-Ashraf Al-Ghuri have surpassed all the kings of the earth in goodness, because he is the necklace in the pocket of kings, and the necklaces of the trunk are never measured by pearls (285b) His familiarity with the blessings of the companion.
