In the name of God... Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the end is for the righteous. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his pure family. As for what follows, God Almighty made the vision his revelation to His saints and the Muslims among His servants and made it part of the parts of prophecy, as Al-Tirmidhi mentioned it in his Musnad on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him. He said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The message and prophecy have been cut off, and there is no messenger or prophet after me.” He said, so the people were frightened, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said May God bless him and grant him peace, but the women who bring good tidings... (62b)
He wrote, may God be pleased with him, “I saw Moses, peace be upon him, as if we were together on the mountain about which God Almighty spoke to him.” He said, “As if I felt something on the mountain. I told him, ‘I feel.’ He said, ‘Yes.’ So I said to him, ‘Did I feel this at the time of the manifestation?’ He said, ‘No, but I felt it after it.’ He said, ‘May God be pleased with him.’ Then I asked him about the difference between knowledge and the state. He said, ‘Between them, between existence and nonexistence, and between the one who is established and the one who is not, the glad tidings have been completed. Praise be to God, the Inspirer of goodness and the sender of blessings.’”
