Sample Text (12b-14b) In the name of God... O God, bless the master of creation, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. The poor, weak, poor man said... Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Jazari... After praising God, who made the supplication to return the decree, and prayers and peace be upon Muhammad, the master of the prophets, and upon his pure, pious family and companions, this fortified fortress is from the words of the master of the messengers, and the weapon of the believers is from the treasury of the trustworthy Prophet, and the great temple is from the words of the Holy Messenger... and I took it from the authentic hadiths... He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said the supplication. It is worship (106b-107b) Oh God, for the sake of Muhammad, in Your presence, remove from the creation what has befallen them and do not impose upon them those who do not have mercy on them, for something has befallen them that no one else can lift up and no one can push away except You. O God, relieve us, O Generous One, O Most Merciful of the Merciful. Its author, may God be pleased with him, said... I finished classifying this fortified fortress from the words of the Master of Messengers on Sunday afternoon, the twenty-second of Dhul-Hijjah Al-Haram, in the year seven hundred and ninety-one, in the school that he established at Ras Uqba Al-Katt inside guarded Damascus... so I made this this My fortress and I put my trust in God, and He is my suffice and He is the best disposer of affairs. I have rewarded my children... His narration on my behalf... and I have also rewarded the people of my time. Praise be to God, first and last, apparent and hidden, and may His prayers be upon the master of creation and the noblest of them, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions, and may his peace be complete.
