Notes
On page 1a, the names of the works in this manuscript are written. Pages 1a and 86b contain the library and collection name and collection number information where the copy is located. The text is red-ruled throughout. The beginnings of the words are written in red ink, and the verses and hadiths are shown with a red upper line. There are correction records on the margins of the pages and commentators at the bottom of the pages. Information about the size and binding properties of the copy was taken from the Suleymaniye Library identification slip. A medicine recipe and the name of Matla'u'l-Cûd bi-Tahkîki't-Tenzîh fî Vahdeti'l-Vücûd and its author are written on the inside of the upper cover. However, the work in question is not included in this manuscript. On page 1a, Hz., which is found in multiple copies in this collection. A couplet was written about the Prophet. This couplet is found in the copies either next to Hacı Beşir Ağa's foundation seal or his ownership record. The font of this couplet is the same as the font in the appropriation record of Hacı Beşir Ağa. Based on these, it can be understood that Hacı Beşir Ağa noted the couplet in question in the books he owned. Again, on page 1a, a Turkish couplet and “yâ kebîkec yâ hafîz” were written to protect the copy. On page 59b, the answer given in verse by Suleiman the Magnificent to Şeyhülislam Çivizâde, who gave a fatwa against Ibn al-Arabi, and Ibn al-Arabi's answer to the question of munkar nekir are written. It is a work written in Persian by Sheikh Mekkî upon the request of Yavuz Sultan Selim in order to respond to the criticisms brought to Muhyiddin İbnü'l-Arabî (638/1240) due to some of his views in his work Fusûsu'l-Hikem.
Sample Text
(1b) O Lord, complete our light and forgive us, may God bless Muhammad and his family, thank you incomparably for monotheism, the unmistakable basis of Muhammad, infas and polytheism, unity, the building of separation, the building of abstraction, the eternal destruction... But then this is what the poor man of the earth, known as Sheikh Al-Maki, says... (2a) Sultan Ibn Al-Sultan Ibn Al-Sultan Sultan Salim Khan Ibn Bayezid Khan Ibn Muhammad Khan... I used to say from the teachings of the final Muhammadan governorship, Muhyiddin Muhammad bin al-Arabi, may God be pleased with him, and I used to go to the gate of the veiled guardians to seek refuge in him. The order of obedience and the obligatory command of the followers of that master of the religion of the Imam of the Muslims and the leader of the believers was issued that I should transcribe this humble answer to the objections of the master of the hijab in a way that is in accordance with reason and agreeable. (59b) And since you have accepted this will and acted according to it, this poor, disobedient, disobedient person who is afraid of me on the day of the day of yukhd fieh Al-Foud and al-Nawasi, if it is not a beautiful thing, and if it is not me, remind him of that kind, and from time to time, look at him in a righteous prayer. Al-Sabil said, Al-Abd al-Asghar, Abu al-Fath bin Muzaffar, I forgot to write this message... After Asr, on Sunday, the eighth of Shawwal, I will end with good fortune, and Iqbal, in the twenty-fourth and ninth year of the Prophetic Hijriyyah, upon its owners, the best prayers in the city of Adrana... Praise be to God for the completion and the prayers, and peace be upon the seal of the honorable messengers, and upon the family and companions of the great ones.
