In the introduction, the author states that he will summarize İbnü'l-Kayyim's work named "Kitâbü'r-Rûh" with some short additions, that the organization of his own work is better than the original work, and that he has reduced the 21 issues in the original work to 10 issues. From now on, he gives the titles of the 10 issues that he will mention in his book. In the ferağ record, the author states that he completed the work on 28 Rabi al-Awwal 853, and that he completed the process of publicizing (clearing) the work on 1 Jamazi al-Ahir 853. On page 86a, the author cites the people who were martyred in the plague that broke out in Cairo in 853 as the reason for writing this summary. The name of the work. It is mentioned in the text in 1b. According to the copying record in 87a, the copy was copied from the author's copy. The leaves are written at the bottom of the page and are numbered in black ink. There are instructions and explanations in the margins. It is a compilation of the work named "Kitâbü'r-Rûh" written by İbnü'l-Kayyim el-Cevziyye (751/1350) about the nature of the soul and its state after death.

In the name of God... O God, bless and grant peace upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad and his wives and descendants, and they ask you about the soul. Say, “The soul is from the command of my Lord, and you have not been given knowledge except a little. Praise be to God, who made the soul of His command, created it with the best creativity, and deposited it with the secret of His secret... And then I will write, God Almighty willing, in these papers what is meant by the truth from the book of the Spirit by the Imam, the scholar Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, al-Dimashqi al-Hanbali, may God water his soul and have mercy on his heart and abode. This is the correct statement on every issue and the strongest evidence, and perhaps I added something, so I often distinguished it by saying... (86a)

May God expand its duration and benefit the Muslims with His blessing and the blessing of His knowledge in this world and the hereafter. Amen. I finished condensing this book on the night of Wednesday, the twenty-eighth of Rabi’ al-Awwal of the months of the year fifty-three, and from its ovulation on the third day, beginning of Jumada al-Akhirah, also in the year eight hundred and fifty-three.
