Sample Text
It is a work created and bound by bringing together three different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 575, MS 576, MS 577).
575 AD: It is a copy of the commentary made by Celaleddin ed-Devvani on Sadeddin Teftazani's work named Tezhibü'l-Mantık ve'l-Kelam. The work is also known as Haşiyetu'l-Halhali. The first part of the source text Tezhibu'l-mantık ve'l-kelam, which consists of two parts, deals with logic issues, although it is short, it attracted the attention of scholars more and most of the commentaries and annotations were made on this part. Here, after defining the science of logic and briefly touching on its subjects, five universals, types of propositions, theory of syllogism and types of knowledge are discussed. The second part consists of six parts related to theology. Among the fifty commentaries and annotations of the work, the most important one is Devvani's Şerhu Tehzibi'l-Mantık. There are annotations on this commentary by scholars such as Mir Zahid, Ebü'l-Feth es-Saidi, Muslihuddin-i Lari, Mir Fetullah Şirazi. The work we have by Halhali is one of these annotations (ta'lik). Additional information: In the copy record, 1a, there is the imprint information of this and the next two works. There is a deleted text in 1b; There must be a record of ownership. In 1a, there are two seals of appropriation and testimonies on gratitude, certainty, assumption and delusion.
576 AD: It is the annotation of the commentary made by Kâdî Mîr to Esîrüddin el-Ebherî's work called Hidâyetü'l-Hikme. The source text, Hidayetu'l-Hikme, deals with the problems of Islamic philosophy and is divided into logic, naturalism and theology sections. The text, which attracted great attention in the Islamic world, was taught as a textbook in madrasas for centuries. Additional information: There is no time-space information of recitation. In 81a, there is the imprint information of the work and the verse, and in 110a, there are two erased appropriation seals. Some leaves must have been broken off between 122b and 123a. Some leaves have geometric shapes drawn in red ink. Between 154b and 155a, there is an empty shukka prepared for receiving nor. There are dense annotations on some margins.
577 AD: It is the annotation of Celaleddin ed-Devvani's work on proof of necessity. Additional information: It is the last work of the three-work magazine. There is no record of copying in the copy. 173a is empty. 214b is empty. Between 214b and the outer cover, on side a, there is a text quoted from Abdurrahman.
