Sample Text In this book, Turkish Airlines Inc., which was established on different dates in the organizational field of Turkish airline passenger transportation, managed to continue its activities for many years, and has different business models. and Pegasus Hava Taşımacılık A.Ş.'s business models are discussed within the framework of new institutional theory and resource dependency theory. Within the scope of the research, semi-structured interviews were conducted with senior managers and a rich data set covering many different secondary sources was used. This book, which includes a qualitative study, reveals that business models change over time and that this change can be explained by the assumptions of new institutional theory and resource dependency theory. The book shows that at the macro level that affects change, the influence of institutional logics and institutions that dominate the organizational field, as well as the legitimacy of the organization and the inter-organizational dependency arising from the resources it needs, change the business models of management methods. In the book, the change of each sub-dimension of the business models of the two airlines in question is discussed, and at the same time, THY's multiple business model, Pegasus Airlines' abandonment of one business model and continuing with a different business model, the dynamics of the organizational field of the airlines and the development of the airports that play an important role for the airlines in the process are touched upon.
