Notes The author was a literature professor in the Nizamiyya School after Al-Khatib Al-Tabrizi and Ali Al-Fasihi, among whom Imam Al-Samani, Ibn Al-Anbari, and Ibn Al-Assar Al-Lughi, the professor of Abu Al-Baqa Al-Akbari, read to him. Among those who narrated with authority was the Imam and jurist Abu al-Fadl Shihab al-Din Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Ghaznawi. (The introduction to the book Al-Takmila by Al-Jawaliqi, edited by the late Izz al-Din al-Tanukhi, and the book was published by the Arab Scientific Academy in Damascus in 1936 AD). This book is a continuation of the book “Durrat Al-Ghaws fi Illusions of the Khawas,” which was written by Al-Hariri. The manuscript is a venerable old copy. He left a margin of 2.5 cm wide with a few comments and explanations. This version is a narration by the student of Al-Jawaliqi, Sheikh Imam Muhdhab Al-Din Abi Al-Hasan Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sulami, perhaps Ali bin Abdul Rahim Al-Sulami (Ibn Al-Assar) (Mu’jam Al-Adaba’ 14/10). The second narration of the manuscript is by the scholar: Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Bari, may God have mercy on him. The manuscript was copied from a manuscript read by Sheikh Imam and scholar Shihab al-Din Abu al-Fadl Muhammad bin Yusuf bin Ali al-Ghaznawi (in the year 588 AH) at the Cairo Mosque. On the first page of the mother copy, what was depicted on the Dhahiriyya copy was written: “This book was read to me by its owner, the sheikh and jurist Abu Muhammad Abd al-Khaliq bin Salih bin Ali al-Miski, may God support him and help him well, and he heard of its reading from those whose name was mentioned at the end, and it was written by Abdullah bin Bari on the eighteenth of Muharram in the year five hundred and seventy-nine.” On the last leaf of the manuscript is a copy of what is on the last leaf of the mother manuscript: “The sheikh and jurist Abu Muhammad Abd al-Khaliq ibn Salih ibn Ali... Al-Miski, may God benefit him with knowledge, read to me the book of completion with my narration on the authority of its author Ijaza, and it was written by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad al-Masoudi in Safar in the year five hundred and seventy-seven.” These readings and hearings confirm the authenticity of the version’s narration. The aforementioned copyist of the manuscript, Dhafir, stated that he matched the energy effort with the original from which it was copied. Then meet again at the time of hearing it.

Nakil tarihleri 588هـ/1192م؛ يوم الجمعة في العشر الأول من صفر؛ جاء على الورقة الاخيرة من المخطوطة: "بلغت سماعاً بجميع هذا الكتاب وهو تكملة الغلط على الشيخ الأجل الإمام شهاب الدين أبي الفضل محمد بن يوسف بن علي الغزنوي أيده الله بقراءتي عليه في جامع القاهرة بحق إجازته من مصنفه. فسمع جميع القراءة ولدي أبو عبد الله محمد رعاه الله... وصافي بن عبد الله المريسي، والفقيه أبو إسحق إبراهيم بن يوسف بن آدم العجمي، وسمع من أوله إلى حد السماع من آخره إبراهيم بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن البوصيري، وسمعه كاملاً عباس بن علي بن عساكر بن رسلان الاصفلجي في مجالس آخرها يوم الجمعة في العشر الأول من صفر سنة ثمان وثمانين وخمسمئة وكتبه ظافر ابن علي بن عبد الرحمن بن علي بن علوي الأعرج العسقلاني حامداً لله ومصلياً على نبيّه كثيراً". يلي ذلك العبارة التالية: "الأمر على ما ذكر وكتبه محمد الغزنوي في تاريخه".
