Notes
This book is by Aristotle, but the name of the person who translated it into Arabic was not found. A copy was written in the treasury of the Grand Prince Al-Jamali Jamal al-Din Yusuf, son of the Grand Prince Badr al-Din Baktut al-Ala’i - may God have mercy on him - who was at that time in charge of the guarded fortress of Karak Castle.
Sample Text
This is the book of the philosopher, the Imam of Wisdom, and he is the source of knowledge, Aristotelis, son of Sphomachus... The translator and philosopher, Aristotle, said: These are the essence of what he refuted about those who claimed that the soul is a body. Then he said about those who said: The soul only occurs before projections mix with each other, then about those who said: It is from the composition of the body, then about those who said: It is from the mood of the body.
