Footnotes: We notice a continuation of some phrases in the margin, and there is an indexing of the topics in the margin. There is also a correction and clarification of what is missing from the text, with a sign and the word “stop” in red and black, and comments with names mentioned in black script, and they are as follows (Al-Sharshi, Sajah bint Al-Mundhir Al-Tamimiyyah, Hajir Mudhhil Ghaylan, which is Al-Harith bin Ghailan bin Afia, Bishr bin Abi Hazim, Ain Makula, and Al-Masoudi, Al-Fadl bin (Isa, Al-Jahiz, Al-Mutanabbi) and the last text reached the corresponding title page: The title is written in black script, consisting of two lines, and part of the rest of the title is in the form of a triangle. Types of papers: The papers are polished, and some of them have become brown. They have a watermark of three crescents, the extended lines 2.7, and the serial lines 2.6-3. They also have a watermark of three crescents of a second type, the extended lines 2.1, and the serial lines 2.4-2.6. This type is very similar to Velkov & Andreev 1983: 732, dated 1762. The watermark was not known on some papers, but we found a mark from Two letters in a Western style that could not be read, the extended lines 2.1-2.2 and the serial letters 2.4-2.5.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and through Him we seek help in the affairs of this world and religion, and praise is He who raised the stations of scholars and erected the banners of the noble ones, so they praised him for all his feats and thanked him for his good affliction (...) And after that, the learned Imam and scholar Abu al-Fath Nasir al-Din bin Abdul Hamid al-Matiri al-Khwarizmi, the linguist and grammarian, said during his sermon explaining the Maqamat al-Hariri that I have not seen in the books of Arabic and literature, nor in the classifications of the Persians and Arabs, a book of better composition. The most amazing and most comprehensive classification of Arabic wonders, the most comprehensive of literary curiosities, and the most comprehensive of Arab proverbs and literary jokes are among the Maqamat created by Imam Jamal Al-Asr and Kamal Al-Dahr, Abu Muhammad Al-Qasm bin Ali Al-Hariri Al-Basri, may God return a bed and a good bedside, a wonderful and miraculous classification, written by Aziz, etc.

المخطوطة قديمة جدا ومخيطة خيط أبيض بعضها متكامل وبعضها منزوعة والتجليد ملصق بقماش أبيض في الكعب وفيه غلافان من الكرتون ملبس يجلد والغلاف الأيمن فيه طبعة عبارة عن خطين ناقصين وهو متأكل وفيه أيضا ورقة حديثة بما عنوان النصوص الداخلية والجلد من جلد الماعز ثم يليه ورقة بيضاء فيها العناوين الموجودة داخل المخطوطة وتوجد خلف الورقة فائدة مكتوبة على شكل مثلث مقلوب وفيها اسم الشيخ العلامة محمد بن إبراهيم المزجاجي ثم تتبع ذلك ورقتين فارغتين وبعدها ورقة فيها العنوان وأما الجلد الثاني فهو من جلد الحروف وفيه طبعة على شكل مستطيل ملون باللون الأصفر عبارة عن مجموعة من الأشكال المثلثة ذات الزوايا وملصوقة من الداخل بورقة بيضاء للبطانة ويليها ورقة فيها آخر النصوص من المخطوطة وفي داخل الجلد الأيسر يوجد أثر استخدام ورقة رابطة بين الكتاب والجلد من أجل التماسك والترابط والخيوط لونها أبيض مع وجود ترميم للجلد
