His papers are small, and it is a translation by Mawla Abu Ali bin Abi Ghaleb Al-Sharif, and it states that he belongs to the Bani Jamal division, who in turn belong to the Idrisids, and his predecessors used to settle in Madshar Siriouh, then the grandfather of the author of the translation moved to Fez, and settled in Houmt Siriouh with the displaced Siriouis, until he became known as the Siriwi, and they are in lineage noble Idrisids. Then the writer gives us the details of the genealogy of this branch of honorable people, and says that the translator learned with the help of the cupping industry and treating wounds and excelled at it, and he became famous and people turned to him.
