It begins with a translation by Abu Thabit al-Dimashqi from the Al-Kunya section. There must have been something omitted between this part and the one before it, and perhaps the translation of Yazid bin Muawiyah in the previous part was not finished, and also from the section on the nicknames, a lot of (Abu Ahmad and Abu Bakr) was omitted. He began this part by saying the letter ta. And from Q76A there are four white pages followed by his saying: “My father, Al-Hafiz Abu Al-Qasim Ali bin Al-Hasan, may God have mercy on him, informed me.” This indicates that this part is the narration of the author’s son, who is Al-Qasim, meaning that the original differs between the parts of our version. Q132B: Mention of those who are attributed to their fathers and are not known by their nicknames or names. Q140a: Mention of those with surnames that predominate over genealogical names. Q147B: This is the mention of one of the unknown people mentioned to us, and I will mention them in the order of time and years. Q190a: These are the women we have heard of who have narrated or written poetry from free women and female slaves, arranged in the usual order of mentioning their names in letters. Q. 293a: Mentioning those mentioned by her nickname without identifying her by her name. Q311b: Among the unknowns are nouns and nouns. Q. 319a (which is the last translation) A woman poet from the Christians of Busra... List of extensive translations: Q. 1b-7b: Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani al-Sahabi (died 75). His name was not mentioned at the beginning of the translation, and perhaps it was omitted from him and those before him, thus blending the two translations together. Q. 205a-210b: Ramla bint Abi Sufyan, Umm Habibah, the wife of the Messenger (died 44 AH). Q. 220a-223a: Sufana bint Hatim al-Ta’i, the Companion. Q. 223a-226b: Umaima bint Al-Hussein bin Ali Sakina Al-Muhaddith (died 117). Q247B-251A: Fatima bint Abdul Malik bin Marwan, wife of Omar bin Abdul Aziz. This is the last thing that God has made easy to compile from this book, and God is the one who grants success in it, the guide - so may God have mercy on those who wrote it and collected it, and benefited from it those who wrote it, read it, and heard it. It is what is hoped for for the forgiveness of sins and the opening of the actions of the hearts. Praise be to God, by whose grace good deeds are accomplished, and may his prayers be upon Muhammad, his family, and his fragrant companions. There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great, in Him I trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.
