Notes
- He summarized it from (Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih) by Imam Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari (d. 256 AH), and mentioned in it that he took three hundred hadiths from Al-Bukhari and a few by deleting the chains of transmission, except for the narrator of the hadith, to make it easier to memorize. In the Arabic translation of Sezgin’s book, its title is: Bringing together the end with some goodness and purpose, and the name of its author is mentioned as follows: Abdullah bin Saeed bin Abi Jamra. A good, corrected copy, corresponding to a certified copy. On the back of the last leaf of it is the following comment: (Every hadith in this summary is written on the beginning as authentic, so it is compared to copies of Sahih Al-Bukhari, some of which are relied upon for authenticity and authenticity, and God knows best. It was written by Abu Bakr bin Al-Furat). (The transcriber): He is Abdullah bin Ali bin Al-Hasan bin Muhammad bin Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad bin Al-Furat Jamal Al-Din Al-Hanafi. Ibn Hajar translated him in Al-Durar Al-Kaminah 2/278 and said: (He was knowledgeable in illuminating books, careful in testifying with humility, virtue, and good expression. He died on the twentieth of Ramadan in the year 769, and he was the uncle of our Sheikh Nasser Al-Din Ibn Al-Furat, the author of Al-Tarikh Al-Kabir. I said: On the date of his death mentioned, it was considered, because it did not agree with the date of copying this Manuscript.
Sample Text
Sheikh Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Saad bin Abi Jumrah Al-Azdi, may God Almighty be pleased with him, said: Praise be to God, the right to praise Him, and may peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, the best of his creation, and upon the noble companions chosen for his company. Then, since the hadith and preserving it was one of the closest means to God Almighty... and I saw that Al-Himm had fallen short of preserving it despite the large number of books he wrote for the sake of their chains of transmission, so I decided to take from his most authentic books and summarize hadiths from him.
