The first letter is at the beginning of the book, which is the mission of King Anu Shirwan Barzwayh al-Mutabtabb to request the book of Kalila and Dimna, and the second letter is by Bazarjmihr ibn al-Bahtakan in praise of King Anu Shirwan, who is Khosrau ibn Qubad, king of the Persians.
