The manuscript was translated by Ismail, nicknamed Kamil Ibn Haji Ahmad Ibn Abd al-Latif Ibn Abd al-Salam al-Baghdadi, the Kurdish Shafi’i al-Qadiri. He began translating it on Monday, Rabi’ al-Akhir 22, 1197 AH/1782 AD, and completed it on Saturday, Dhul-Qi’dah 24, 1198 AH/1783 AD.
