Notes At the end is the text of a letter sent by Sidi Al-Hassan bin Masoud Al-Yusi to Sultan Mawla Ismail. It is a comprehensive work that Al-Muqri devotes to the translation of Hafez Al-Maghrib. The great jurist Ayyad Ibn Musa Al-Yahsbi Al-Sabti, who died in the year 544 AH (1149 AD). And a review of its effects, as written by Al-Wazir Ibn Al-Khatib in Nafah Al-Tayyib. He divides it into eight gardens: the first is “the garden of roses in the primacy of this individual knowledge.” The second: “The chrysanthemum garden in mentioning the state of origin and flowering.” The third: “Rawdat al-Bahar, in mentioning a group of his sheikhs whose virtue is more evident than the sun of the day.” The fourth: “Rawdat al-Manthur in some of his manthūm and manthūr,” and the fifth: “Rawdat al-Nasreen in his peerless and comrades-in-class writings.” And the sixth: “The garden of the myrtle in his death and what he did of the age that has no myrtle to his wound,” and the seventh: “The garden of the Shafiq in a series of his benefits and the brilliance of his well-arranged masterpieces, the systems of pearls and agate,” and the eighth: “The garden of the Niloufar in people’s praise of him, and mentioning some of his virtues that are more fragrant than fragrant musk.” The author continues the book as usual. There are various concerns in the conversation. He transmits to us some accounts and documents related to the fall of Granada. And the history of the Moriscos or Christianized Arabs. These narrations and documents, although few and brief, have a special importance because they are all that have come down to us from the Islamic narration in this country, and they contain a description of the means of coercion and coercion adopted by Christian Spain after the fall of Granada to force Muslims to convert to Christianity. The horrific punishments imposed by the investigative courts on violators include a document of special importance written by a Christian Andalusian to Sultan Bayezid of the Ottomans, seeking his help and pleading with him to support his Christianized Arab brothers, and describing the horrors of the “Biwan of Inquiry” and the wonderful persecutions that befall those converted Arabs. Al-Muqri had great merit in transmitting these documents to us as their originals were lost, and had it not been for his care in transferring them, we would not have obtained them. “Several copies of it were included in: Dar al-Kutub al-Misriyah 2013 history, the National Library of Paris 383. 408 history (both its second part) and the Library of the Academy of History in Madrid XXXIV Codera. And (Dictionary of Andalusian Geographers and Historians) BOIGUE. P. 419. And the Rabat Public Treasury 229k.
