between blackened bamboo boards ms. bound with rope — Buda script The ms. was written rather carelessly. It is not easy to read on account of the abbreviations
which are used. — palm leaf — Book of notes, Old Javanese, on medicines (tamba) of complaints and diseases. The
initial leaves contain magic drawings (rajahs) to be used as charms. Illustration
for rajahs and mantras. The ms. was probably written about 1600 A.D.
