the Pudukkottai district. As is usual with the CT manuscripts, "paṟṟuvaḷi" is spelled differently (pattu vaṟ[a]).
- In the colophon the merchant invokes the family deity (caṇmukanataṉ ṟuṇai - caṇmukanataṉ
tuṇai). - In Col.2 of Bl.76.r. a remnant of "pirāñcēri-nōṭṭu" (promissory note) can still be seen.
