Notes Assamese translation of the Sanskrit epic poem Mahābhārata. It was written on the inner bark of the Aquilaria malaccensis (or Agar wood) in Assamese script; the legends of the 68 miniatures were also written in Persian script. The Karṇaparvan describes days 16 and 17 of the battle of the Kurukshetra War between the Kauravas and the Pāṇḍavas. On the 16th day, Karṇa, chief commander of the Kauravas, is killed by Arjuna.
