Notes	A treatise on tafsir written by Ömer Fânî Efendi, one of the 17th century Ottoman scholars. The name of the work is Risâle fî cem'i'l-âyâti'l-mütaallika bi'l-mîzân maa't-tefsîr. A copy, Suleymaniye Library, Serez, No. It is located at 3880. Ömer Fânî Efendi explains the reason for writing the work as follows: "When the minds that have become weak and rusty due to their connection with the world find it difficult to understand the verses about the balance, and these people imitate the wise people and cannot succeed in this, I wanted to be successful in the words of Savi (k.s.) regarding the verses of the balance." (Fânî zm. 3880: v. 44b). The commentary described by Hulvî as "He wrote a beautiful annotation to Kådî Beydâvî Tefsîri" (Hulvî 1993: 604) must be this work. Although it is stated in the library catalog that the language is Ottoman, this information is incorrect and the language of the work is Arabic. This is the entire treatise located in the 44b-46a folio range of a magazine in the library in question. The work, 24 st., 140x90, 95X60 mm. size and written in ta'lik calligraphy, black ink. Titles and headings are indicated in red ink. The writings are in the form of slanted lines from right to left (Fânî yzm. 3880; İdiz 2011: 138). In the introduction, there is the following sentence that gives information about the content of the treatise: "The first one is a treatise about the verses of mizân in the Surah Al-A'raf" (Fânî yzm. 3880: vr. 44b). Based on this statement, it is understood that the risk is about the interpretation of the verses of Mizan in the Quran.
