Notes
Nâsırî's mystical work. İşrâkât was written in a simple and easily understandable Persian language, in mixed verse and prose. Turkish words, Turkish and Arabic couplets are also included in the text. The verse parts are written in the aruzunfâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün pattern. The work is divided into two main sections: Observations and Mucahads. Müşâhadât consists of five sections called “articles” and five ishraks in each article. Mücahadât is similar to Müşâhadât in terms of form; but the expression "hâl" was used instead of the article. There are a total of 50 ishraks in Ishraqat. In the ishraks, there is a verse, a short, prose explanation of the verse, stories in verse called latifa, and an argument section. Before the latifas, examples of couplets belonging to other poets are sometimes given under the titles called stanzas, poems or couplets. In addition to the Quran and hadiths, the author benefited from the works of names such as Mevlânâ, Sühreverdî, Senâ'î, Fahreddîn Râzî. There are two manuscript copies of the work. The first of the copies is located between pages 40b-82b in the Köprülü Library, Fazıl Ahmed Pasha Collection, volume 1597. The second copy is in Beyazıt Manuscript Library, Veliyüddin Efendi Collection, No. It was published in 1630, between pages 1b-62a. İşrâkât was studied by Zeynep Akçora as a master's thesis (2018).
