Short photo of a manuscript, content: "Bahār-i Dāniš", Persian novel by ʿInāyatallāh with two prefaces. The first (fol. 5b) is that of Muḥammad Ṣālīḥ, a friend of the author. According to this (fol. 6b 1.18), ʿInāyatallāh wrote his work in the year 1061 [h.q.] [1650 or 1651]. The second (fol. 8b) is that of the author himself. At the beginning there are some poems by Kemāl Ġiyāṯ-ad-dīn, ʿAbd-al-Qādir and Ḫāṭibī (fol. 1 and 2), writing: Taʿlīq, equipment: on smoothed, colored paper, literature: part of the "Bahār-i Dāniš" (up to Fol. 107b 1.4 of this manuscript, but without the first preface) is printed in the Selections for the use of the students of the Persian class (by Lumsden), Calcutta 1804 4 tom. 2 (172 pages) and in another lithographic edition of the same work: 'Classic Selections from some of the most esteemed Persian Writers'. Calcutta 1828 Vol. I.
