Praise be to God alone May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, the servant of the highest station in God, the most audacious jurist, the wisest scholar, the pious, the happiest ruler, Sir Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And then we inform you that Mr. Abd al-Jabbar al-Wazzani al-Janadi had a mule looted from his house at night and was presented to the governor of Bani Warad, and the bribe was given to two men from Bani Warad who were unjust and testified unjustly that a son had been born. He met Al-Waradi and his brother-in-law, Si Mahjoub Abdul Hadi, originally Al-Waradi, and he showed them those who had plundered the mule, and he presented the aforementioned Al-Wazzani with the owners of Latabi’s house with the intention of arresting him, and when he counted him, they went behind the aforementioned madshar and took two animals, one of the aforementioned sons of Latabi, and one of the aforementioned Si Muhammad bin Abbou, unjustly and aggressively, and the aforementioned Ben Abou. Here he is being detained in the Zawiya prison unjustly, this time for six months, as previously mentioned, all of them, and then the sons of Al-Atabi. They came upon two animals and took them away from the hand of the aforementioned Wazzani until the wound occurred among them. A man from the nobles of Banu Jannad was wounded and summoned them to the commandant Muhammad, the governor of Meknes, because the sons of Latab were plowing there at the time of plowing. He arrested them at the port of the sons of Attabi in the prison of Meknes for more than two months, until the aforementioned wounded man recovered the wound, Bar Atama, and released them from prison after they had sold all their crops and were left with nothing. The aforementioned injured person complained against you after being truly acquitted, and I ordered the arrest and imprisonment of a man who passed by such-and-such and was left with starvation in our homes and his children selling tents to the barbarians. We wrote to you, may God be pleased with you, and they dismissed your command over us and you dismissed him. We would like now that you do not accept the words of this man in this matter. And if we lie about what he mentioned, the people of Al-Qaliya and the people of Sidi Ali will be asked to inform you of what he mentioned. As for his mule, the aforementioned Si Muhammad ibn Abbou, here it is in the hand of the mentioned wazini, unjustly and unjustly, and aggressively.
