Praise be to God, in the place of our dearest, earthly brother, our long-term lover, Al-Sayyid Al-Arabi, the son of our beloved, the late scholar, Sidi Salih. May God protect you and grant you peace and may God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. We would love, with all your generosity and sympathy, for you to be patient with us on this blessed day. For on Eid, God willing, the mule will come out for us. By God, your benevolence to us cannot be rewarded for it, and words with you are not enough for us without action, but we are sufficient to pray for you (but) it will God will soon grant us what we will reward you with some reward. For what cannot be comprehended in its entirety, He will not leave out some of it, and God has granted you the reward, and it is sufficient for Him, and He is capable of that. By God, all people, great and small, have praised you with goodness for your good deeds with us, and mentioned how many in forums you have deserved the utmost closeness and care, and you are worthy of that.
